Our Projects
Virtual Teaching Sessions
Every weekend, the mentoring team conducts hour-long zoom meetings with the high schoolers we work with to take a deep dive into Business and Technology. Our lessons always start off with a fun game to get everybody excited to learn as well as to better increase the bond between the students and mentors. After that, we began to follow the curriculum which consists of Business Management content as well as hands-on learning through graphic design and setting up and managing their different social media accounts and business functions.
At the end of each lesson, we have fun photo taking where our students will pick a pose to strike together :)
Downloadable Curriculum
Our curriculum is a thorough exploration of business basics, market research, marketing, the 4Ps, social media, and graphic design, as well as a hands-on exploration of various e-commerce websites and business functions. It is translated in two languages including English and Bahasa Indonesia, and in the process of being translated in Mandarin.
Our goal as a service organisation is for as many people as possible to have access to these resources. Therefore, our curriculum as well as all our lesson plans and materials are free to download for any individual or organisation that are passionate in our vision of spreading quality education.

In-person meetings
Held in Singapore, we hold face-to-face meetings every week for our amazing group of Indonesian migrant workers. This teaching style allows us to be more hands-on, personally guiding our students to master important tools to be successful digital entrepreneurs like spreadsheets, maneuvering marketplaces (Tokopedia and Shoppee), and graphic design (Canva). We also ensure an engaging environment by holding team-based projects at the end of each class to practice public speaking and project management! Currently, we have finished 4 modules (12+ classes) since 2023.
Introductory Seminars
To advocate for the importance of digital entrepreneurship and convince more migrant workers to sign up for our classes, we held a free-for-all seminar on e-commerce and social media marketing for 50+ migrant workers in Singapore! This event jumpstarted our official modules.
In-Person Visit
In the past year, we have visited our partners in Desa Kapan and Bandung to conduct in-person lessons. By doing this, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the process and conduct our most fun and dynamic lesson yet. In both sessions, we were able to tackle concepts that would be challenging to do online such as Packaging and product development.
The visits also allowed us to connect more with the students and get to know them and their environment face-to-face. We were able to learn more about their cultures and background, forming a deeper bond between our team and our partners!
“It was truly such an enlightening experience to meet these wonderful faces in person and being able to be in the presence of their enthusiasm and curiosity was one that touched my heart and ensured me that we were making an impact.” - Angel, our Co-founder
Advocacy and fundraising
To further advocate for the importance of quality education for students around the world, our co-founder spoke on Aku Bisa’s work and vision in her school assembly in front of 1500 people. Furthermore, our team also set up a booth in January 2023 in our high school to raise awareness on this issue and educate people on the struggles of many students around the world. Here, we also fundraised ($500) by selling Keripik Pisang Arupik, the product of our partner, Rumah Pelangi Kasih where the funds were then used to further support the development of the students living there.
Furthermore, in August 2023, we collaborated with Project Connect, a service organisation aimed to increase financial literacy for migrant workers in Singapore, to organise a bake sale that earned $500+.
